Holly Barker, a junior at Trabuco Hills High in California, placed second in the Division 1 girls final at the CIF Southern Section Championships, covering the 3-mile adjusted rain course layout in 16:06.6 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut. Barker helped Trabuco Hills finish second as a team by a 49-65 margin against Corona Santiago High.
